Mesec in pol je minil kot bi švignil.  Pester in nadvse zanimiv april je zaznamovan s Trapezovim lepotnim tekmovanjem tort, katerega se je udeležil tudi moj Pomladni disko. Če si že ni prislužil titule najlepše, je pa zagotovo najbolj žarel med vsemi.

Mesec bo za vedno ovekovečen predvsem s tem, da mi je chef Uroš Štefelin ponudil priložnost, da za kulinarični večer treh chefov (Štefelin, Bine Volčič in Igor Jagodic), ki se je zgodil ta petek na Bledu, razvijem moderno gorenjsko sladico. Mesec razmišljanja, poglabljanja v značilnosti Gorenjske in eksperimentiranja je še kako obrodil sadove. Več o petkovem dogajanju zelo kmalu, tokrat pa delim z vami recept za sladke olive, s katerimi se bodo sladkali 1. junija na otvoritvi Vile Podvin, ki jo bosta oživela Uroš in Marcela.

Za sladke olive potrebuješ:

  • Olive brez koščic,
  • mandlje in
  • temno čokolado.

Olive napolniš z mandlji in obliješ s čokolado. Enostavno, kajne?

Last month and a half passed by with the speed of light. It will be remembered for cake beauty contest. Mine was there too. Spring disco wasn’t the most beautiful one, but it definitely shined the most.

April will forever be eternalized for the opportunity of Chef Uroš Štefelin. He gave me a chance to develop Slovenian modern Gorenjska region dessert for 3 chefs culinary evening, which was this Friday in Bled. Month of thinking, depeening into region features and experimenting was exceedingly successful. More about Friday evening very soon. This time I share with you recipe for sweet olives which you can try June 1st on the grand opening Vila Podvin, revived by Uroš and Marcela.

Ingredients for sweet olives:

  • olives without stones
  • almonds
  • dark chocolate

Fill up olives with almonds and dip them in dark chocolate. Simple, isn’t it?

One more thing… Be brave and don’t forget that the most important ingredient is love!
